Our website contains forms (such as the contact forms Join Us and Contact) which can be used by visitors wishing to give feedback and express their interest in contributing content. If you enter your details on the form, it is sent directly to a City Leap email address.

When the email reaches City Leap it is subject to this privacy policy. Any data you submit will be used solely by City Leap for getting in contact with you or, where applicable, providing the services that you’ve requested.

Hotjar

Bristol City Council uses Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behaviour and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf. Google Analytics and Tag Manager

City Leap collects web statistics automatically about your visit to our website based on your IP address. This information is used by City Leap, as a public authority, to facilitate its public task in providing services to as many people as possible. City Leap uses Google Analytics and Tag Manager for this purpose, you can read Google’s privacy policy for more information.

  • our other service providers and sub-contractors, including payment processors, utility providers, suppliers of technical and support services, insurers, logistic providers, and cloud service providers;

  • companies that assist in our marketing, advertising and promotional activities, such as the marketing automation platform MailChimp; and
