Bristol City Leap is proud to announce its continued sponsorship of the Energy Department at Sparks Bristol for the second consecutive year. This ongoing partnership reaffirms Bristol City Leap’s unwavering dedication to supporting the city’s journey towards decarbonisation.
As part of this year’s commitment, Bristol City Leap is providing a £10,000 sponsorship, alongside updates to its department’s information boards to ensure that visitors are well-informed about the latest initiatives and progress in the city’s energy transformation, as well as how they can actively engage with and benefit from these advancements.
James Sterling, Communications and Social Value Manager at Bristol City Leap, commented: “We are thrilled to continue our sponsorship of the Energy Department at Sparks Bristol. This partnership is a natural extension of our mission to make Bristol a cleaner, fairer and more sustainable city. By providing up-to-date information and engaging directly with the community, we are helping to drive the city’s ambitious decarbonisation goals and supporting residents to access much-needed advice and help in making informed decisions about their energy use.“
The new information boards provide an overview of Bristol City Leap, including the key partners involved and our collective mission. They highlight Bristol City Leap’s ambitious targets in supporting the city’s decarbonisation efforts and display our commitment to social value, fostering a sustainable economy that is both environmentally responsible and socially just. The boards also detail our clean energy projects, which include retrofitting private and social housing, large-scale renewable initiatives like wind turbines and solar farms, expanding electric vehicle infrastructure, and decarbonising heat across the City through Vattenfall and Bristol City Leap’s Bristol heat network.
